Peekskill is situated on one of the most spectacular parts of the Hudson River. A 10-minute walk will bring you to the newly renovated Riverfront Green, a beautiful park that is expanding. Situated there is the Peekskill Train Station, which will get you to and from NYC in a flash, as well as all the other great surrounding towns and cities.
